Welcome to the Inclusive Innovation Equitable Entrepreneurship (I²E²) Initiative

Motivation

The impact of inequality in the U.S. Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) can be measured in trillions of dollars annually. In alignment with its mission, the University of California has both a mandate and the opportunity to effect durable change and help to create a more inclusive and equitable I&E ecosystem in support of state and national needs.

Objectives

For the University of California (UC) to lead in the collection, analysis, and reporting of I&E data, establish metrics for the ecosystem, convene of UC and national stakeholders, and inform and demonstrate models that broaden the participation of persons from underrepresented groups in I&E within the UC and nationally.

How to Engage

Subcommittee intake has officially closed after engaging with numerous national public and private sector I&E stakeholders. Through this process, we gained valuable insight into key components of funding, education and training, infrastructure, and data ecosystems of UC. Thank you to everyone who participated in this important initiative.
